How accurate is the AI transcription?
GeraCast uses state-of-the-art speech recognition fine-tuned on podcast audio. Accuracy typically exceeds 95% for clear recordings in English. For accented speech or non-English audio across our 50+ supported languages, accuracy ranges from 88–95%. You can review and edit any transcript before publishing.
Which audio formats are supported?
We accept MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, FLAC, and OPUS. Files up to 500 MB are supported on Creator and Pro plans. Free plan accepts files up to 100 MB. We automatically normalise audio levels and remove background noise before processing.
How long does distribution to podcast directories take?
Most directories — including Spotify, Amazon Music, and Pocket Casts — receive new episodes within 2–4 hours of submission. Apple Podcasts and Google Podcasts update within 24 hours due to their own review queues. You'll receive an email confirmation as each platform picks up your feed.
Can I monetise my podcast on GeraCast?
Yes. Creator and Pro subscribers can enable listener donations, premium episode paywalls, and sponsor slot management. We pay out via bank transfer or PayPal on a monthly basis, with a minimum threshold of 10. GeraCast takes a 5% platform fee on all monetisation revenue.
What are GeraCoins and how do I earn them?
GeraCoins are the shared loyalty currency across all Gera Systems products. On GeraCast, you earn coins per episode published (50 on Free, 100 on Creator, 200 on Pro) and a small bonus per 100 plays. Coins can be redeemed for GeraCast subscription upgrades, discounts on GeraHome home services, GeraClinic consultations, or any other Gera product.
What are the storage limits per plan?
Free plan includes 1 GB of total storage. Creator plan provides 20 GB. Pro plan provides 100 GB with optional add-on storage at 2/month per 50 GB. Audio is stored encrypted at rest on redundant infrastructure with 99.99% durability.
Is my audio private? Who can hear my uploads?
Only you can access your audio until you explicitly publish an episode. Even after publishing, files are served via signed URLs that expire after 24 hours, preventing unauthorised redistribution. GeraCast staff never listen to your recordings. We are fully GDPR-compliant and you can request deletion of all your data at any time from your account settings.
Who owns the copyright to my podcast?
You do — entirely. Uploading to GeraCast grants us only the technical licence needed to host, process, and distribute your content as you direct. We never sublicense your material to third parties without your explicit consent. Our Terms of Service are clear: your content, your copyright.
Can I import an existing podcast via RSS feed?
Yes. Go to Submit → Import via RSS and paste your feed URL. GeraCast will import all existing episodes, retroactively generate AI transcripts and chapters, and begin distributing future episodes automatically. The import process typically takes 30–60 minutes depending on episode count. Your original feed remains untouched.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing with no cancellation fee. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, after which you revert to the Free tier. Your episodes, listeners, and data are never deleted on cancellation — you simply lose access to paid features. If you cancel within 7 days of upgrading, we'll issue a full refund, no questions asked.
